Hello dear ones,
How are you?
Greetings from the Oracle of Delphi in Greece!

Here we are smack bang in the middle of the final Eclipses to grace 2016. We are also about to witness the glory of the Rishi Stars (Big stars of Ursa Major) and numerological facts tell us that 9/9/2016 is the mark of the end to a long cycle of heavy “loop like” toxic patterns. Can I mention that Mercury is in retrograde now too and all our planets are doing very awkward things!
It really is a time to introspect and look up at the sky, attempt a little retreat as well as just be quiet with oneself. This upcoming and final Eclipse of 2016 will change allot for many and in our world. The world will seem VERY different after November and our universe is preparing us this very second for that major shift. I suggest we continue to make blessed aspirations and pray with all our hearts. The cosmos want us to honour nature now, to connect with the Earth and listen to the voices of where we stand. We need to shut out the fabricated noise for some hours and listen to the wind, feel the air, its loud loud song and how the earth responds to it. Watch a fire burn, the crackling will enliven us and bring us strength. Sit by a body of water and long for clarity and see how swiftly it will purify fears. Numerous insights will shine forth for us during this time. In-between Eclipse energy is ever so mighty so let us work with it now for the greater good!

Rishi Star Info by K Kunzang:
According to Tibetan and Vedic astrology there are clusters of seven stars called the Rishi Stars that appear once a year – usually in Sept. This year (according to Tibetan astrology) the Rishi Stars will be out from Sept 9th-15th.
Lama Dawa Rinpoche explains that according to a Hindu legend, these stars (called Sapta Rishi – the seven Rishis) were once great sages of the past, who, upon their death, raised up into the heavens and became these stars. When they are visible in the night sky, their light is said to possess special healing powers that transform all water into healing nectar. Typically, Tibetan doctors and healers would place buckets of water outside during this time, and then use this water for making their medicines.
Another way of benefiting from this healing water is to bathe in pools, ponds or rivers during this time. One could collect water in buckets and use that for bathing. Any water – whether it is ocean, river, stream, or water in pools, is imbued with the healing qualities of the stars. This water can be used to make healing tinctures, or for giving to pets and plants. Even the water in our own bodies can be blessed and purified by this special healing energy by exposing your body to the night sky when the stars are out.

Numerological importance of 9/9/2016:
The 9th day of the 9th month in a number 9year (9-9-9) is probably the most powerful day in 2016 according to numerology. The number 9 is said to represent karma, karmic debts, endings, completions, deep spiritual understandings and releasing the old so what is new can emerge. The death of unnecessary habits, beliefs and defenses is always traumatic but such deaths are necessary if we want to move into the new numerological vibration that will begin in 3-4 months. This powerful day really does mark the end of what no longer serves a purpose in our life and uproots all that is dry or left to rot in the dark. Use this day to bring light into the wish for newness. The energetic journey will ascend to clearer perspectives if we are willing to see the truth and allow certain ends to take place.

A little on TarotbyTashi in Delphi:
Many of you may already know how deep my roots are in Greece. I try to pay homage as often as I can to this enchanting land and tend to cry for it when away.
At present, I am at the end of a little writing project here in Delphi and am making use of this precious time completing divinations too. I made an effort to collect some sweet treasures blessed here to present in a cute Gypsy Caravan Sale. Attached to this email are a couple images of some charms that I am selling. There are limited pieces though am happy to receive emailed interest and can post internationally. The charms you see here are gold plated and made in Greece. The charm is called a “Mati” or in English “Evil Eye” and I will include specifics on the magical importance of such charms below. As for Delphi, I’m currently booked up to complete many more readings however I shall return in October and am taking bookings now for then! If you would like to receive your divination from Delphi please email me so I can book you in. I will also be revisiting a favourite spot of mine called the Oracle of Dodona (the oldest Oracle in Greece) and look forward to connect from there too.
The TarotbyTashi Mystical Tour program for 2017 is almost complete and the spotlight will indeed be Ancient Greece!
There is always so much to share and I look forward to share more soon (especially about the upcoming and final Eclipse of 2016).
Have a transformative September and all my best of aspirations.
Love and light,
Tashi

Symbolic Significance of Mati / Evil Eye:
The evil eye is something like a curse that is cast by a malevolent glare and usually given to a person when they are not noticing. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause misfortune or injury. Talismans created to protect against the evil eye are also called “Evil Eye” (such as the charms below).
The idea expressed by the term causes many different cultures to pursue protective measures against it. The concept and its significance vary widely among different cultures and primarily in West Asia. The idea appears several times in translations of the Old Testament. It was a widely extended belief between many Mediterranean and Asian tribes / cultures. Charms and decorations with eye-like symbols known as Nazars, (which are used to repel the evil eye) are a common sight across Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Southern Italy (Naples), the Levant, and Afghanistan.
Classical authors attempted to offer explanations for the evil eye. Plutarch’s scientific explanation stated that the eyes were the chief, if not sole, source of the deadly rays that were supposed to spring up like poisoned darts from the inner recesses of a person possessing the evil eye. Plutarch treated the phenomenon of the evil eye as something seemingly inexplicable that is a source of wonder and cause of incredulity.
Wearing an evil eye charm wards off evil, jealousy and negativity. It is said to wear one made from a land that honors the magic of intention behind such charms and not to purchase evil eyes that are factory made for business only purposes.
